The unconscious mind that produces your dreams protects your mental health from the attacks of the wild side of your conscience that keeps trying to destroy your human side. By following the unconscious guidance you transform its violent and inconsequential reactions into wise behavior that belongs to your human side.
The anti-conscience, your wild side, must not understand the unconscious guidance in your dreams because it is your enemy. This is why you must learn the secret dream language.
Let's suppose that the unconscious mind wanted to tell you that you have to stop eating so much because you are becoming too fat and you won't be able to lose weight later.
If the unconscious mind would follow the logic of your conscience it would show you in a dream scene that you are too fat. In the next scene it would show you that you have serious health problems and you have to take medicine. In the third scene it would show you crying while eating a carrot, because you are very hungry and you have to follow an austere diet.
This way when you would wake up you would understand that you must lose weight while you are still able to control your appetite.
However, the unconscious mind cannot openly speak to your conscience because the anti-conscience would understand its messages too. It would start sending you thoughts like "only chocolate gives me pleasure in life", to make you eat what will increase your weight.
The anti-conscience pretends that it is you, speaking in your mind with your own voice, while it is your primitive self, which you ignore. The wild anti-conscience didn't evolve like the human side of your conscience but it is still active inside you. It keeps interfering in your thoughts, trying to mislead you and imprison you into the labyrinth of craziness.
This is why the unconscious mind has to send you messages in a secret form. In this case it would warn you with the following dream:
Your house is invaded by dangerous aliens who manage to capture you. You try to set yourself free, but this is impossible.
When you awake you'll understand that the anti-conscience is invading your human conscience (aliens that invaded your house) and that you won't be able to escape from its trap, since you are not able to set yourself free in the dream.
You have to figure out where you are making the mistakes that facilitate the domination of the anti-conscience. You'll easily discover that your mistakes are related to your indifference to your weight because all your clothes are becoming too tight due to your obesity.
In the next dream the unconscious mind will show you near a swimming pool, which has no water.
You'll immediately understand that you have stopped being irresponsible. The symbolic meaning of the absence of water indicates the comprehension of the danger that is threatening you.
Therefore, you will understand that you must be very careful; otherwise the anti-conscience will seduce you by sending you thoughts to continue eating too much without caring about the consequences of your negligence. Later, you won't be able to recuperate your shape and good health. You'll become depressed and have many psychological and social problems.
When you learn the dream language and the dream logic, you are able to immediately understand the unconscious messages, as if their symbolism was as simple as the one contained in the dream scenes of my first example.
